Need dating advice
If you're new to a city or just looking for ideas on how to meet more people, check out our city dating guides for singles. Our dating guides will walk you through all the best places to find love, from singles bars to community activities! The main problem is I have no idea on how to start.I'm currently on summer break and doing an internship so I don't have the time to get out during the week.Dating apps never work for me because I am not photogenic and kinda chubby lol.I don't have many hobbies outside recording music and video games, and I don't get invited to parties.I used to be an extremely awkward person, but after years of trying to get comfortable with myself I'm not that awkward anymore.I've gotten to a point where I'm confident with myself and life choices, and I'm not always depressed like I used to be- so I think I'm ready to try dating again.
A part of me has been content with this, cause I’m more into getting laid than getting a BF right now. Hi all, To give an overview of my situation: There is a girl on my floor working in a separate group apart from my own (we don't directly/indirectly work together in any capacity and are technically in different departments) .
That, and general advice on being more "attractive." Title says it all.
Went for a 4 hour coffee date, didn't text that night or the day after, but then texted 2 days in a row with like 10 texts back and forth on both days (in other words, she did 5-6 texts and so did i).
We had a friendly conversation for a few minutes and I asked her if she was interested in joining for a second training. Although our conversation was short, I felt comfortable talking to her, which is quite rare for me.
Hopefully she is there at the next training tomorrow so I can ask her out.
